Providing confidential support for adults, couples and young people from any background.

My 22 years experience includes running a successful private practice for 17 years and 5 years within the NHS.

I work from a compassion focused perspective and offer mindfulness practices to support the change process.

I'm a trained Imago therapist which enables me to work effectively with couples in conflict.

My clients inform me that I have significant awareness of cultural diversity and ethnicity.

Dougie Robertson MBACP (Accred) UKRCP Registered Counsellor

In my own way being a therapist supports my desire to be useful and make the world a better place. For this to be realised we need human beings with fit minds.

On my journey through life I have discovered that I feel more peaceful and content when I'm practicing generosity. Generosity for me means a deep awareness of others and their needs.

I feel privileged and grateful to be engaged in the work of supporting others through difficult times.

I run a thriving walk'n'talk and online private practice connecting with clients from accross the globe including Africa, America, Europe and beyond.

In line with the BACP professional framework I attend regular clinical supervision. I also participate in oficially recognised CPD courses, workshops and retreats to further my development as a therapist.

I'm well traveled and have an interest in other cultures, which I believe enables me to work more effectively with diversity and ethnicity.

I volunteer for my local Buddhist centre and support mindfulness courses and meditation classes which are passed on to my clients on request.
